Chief incumbent of the Madrasa Sheikh Aroos received the delegation from Colombo and hosted them for lunch preceded by the recital of the holy Quran.
M I M Rezwi,well-wisher of the Madrasa and Patron of the All-Ceylon YMMA Conference Khalid Farouk and Colombo Times Editor Mohammed Rasooldeen who is also the head of the YMMA media unit took part in the recital and the luncheon.
The day’s programme ended with the cutting of a cake to mark the birthday of Canada-based Zeenia Thasleem Thassim who is a regular donor of the YWMA. Copies of Holy Quran were also presented to the children
A thanks-giving recital of the Holy Quran for all philanthropists who had helped the Madrasa wrapped up the day.
