COLOMBO : The Young Women’s Muslim Association,YWMA, launched its year-end programme of distribution of books, stationery and footwears to enable the children to go to school during the upcoming new year.
YWMA President told Colombo Times that the programme was a great success with deserving children receiving a pack of books and stationery for the upcoming academic year.
The programme was sponsored by Canadian Sri Lankan Muslim Women’s Alliance. CSMWA, The other donors gave a cash voucher to the children to purchase shoes.
Mrs. Farhath Inhaam & Ms.Zeenath Shuja represented CSMWA to add glamour to the event.

Khalid Farouk (Past President YMMA),Mrs Jennath Ismail, Mrs Kaneez Malik and other members graced the occasion.
