COLOMBO : Members of the Young Women’s Muslim Association(YWMA) found their time to be with the children of special needs on the World Autism Day on Friday.
President of the YWMA, Fawaza Thaha told Colombo Times that many autistic people avoid everyday situations because of their sensitivity issues. “ We the YWMA came forward on the World Autistism Day to be with the inamtes of the City Mission Church Dam Street to express our love, care and show affection to those under this condition and spent sometime with them to make them feel the environments are more autism-friendly and we care for them,” Thaha said.
