This webinar will shed light on the latest changes to the Income Tax and Withholding Tax regime and the presenters will discuss on finer points that one needs to consider in understanding the impact stemming from these proposed changes.
The webinar will discuss proposed changes to the income tax regime in Sri Lanka including the following,
- Provisions to discourage cash transactions with effect from 1st April 2023.
- Specified institutions such as banks & financial institutions, Registrar General’s Office, Registrar of Companies, CG of Motor Traffic, Stock Exchange, Govt. Officers granting contracts for supply of goods, services & other institutions to be prescribed to provide information to CGIR periodically
- All individuals in addition to companies to file tax returns electronically from Y/ A 2023/24
