PERTH: Pakistan faced a shocking defeat by one run to Zimbabwe short while ago. Zimbabwe posted 130 runs for the loss of 8 wickets while chasing the mediocre score Pakistan ran out of steam and was restricted to 129 for 8 wickets off their 20 overs.
A brilliant bowling effort by Zimbabwe saw Pakistan’s chances of Semis slipping away while Zembabwe are elated to snatch this win by one run. Evans, Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava were brilliant with the new ball. Raza was exceptional in the middle overs with figures of 3 for 25 runs while Evans picked up 2 for 25 runs. Zimbabwe kept their nerve throughout the game and fought till the end to win by one run and have emerged victorious.
