English players were dominant in the field and the Indian bowlers couldn’t break through the batting supremacy of Hales and Jos butler. Hales made 87 off 47 balls while Butler made 80 off 49 balls. England beat India by 10 wickets and reached the score of 170 with 4 overs to spare.

Pakistan will meet England on Sunday for the final of the T20 World Cup at the MCG. The final on Sunday draws many similarities to the ICC 1992 cricket world cup final which was also held at the MCG, Australia.  Pakistan clashed with England in the final in 1992 and Pakistan beat England by 22 runs to be crowned the world champions. The legendary cricketer Imran Khan was the captain of Pakistan who led the team to its first world cup win. Similar to this year’s tournament Pakistan beat New Zealand in the semi finals in 1992 to reach the final. (RZ) Image credit: T20worldcup official website
