COLOMBO :A Group of Pakistani students who were returning home after a week-long visit to Sri Lanka unanimously said that they want to come back to the island because of its natural beauty and its smiling people .
A group of 21 students of Grade 6 presently studying in Academia Civitas- a private school based in Karachi, Pakistan who are on a goodwill visit to Sri Lanka, visited Pakistan High Commission, Colombo Friday on 9th February .
Most of them liked Sigiriya and were enticed by the natural landscape in the hills. Egg hoppers was the number one choice when they were talking of Sri Lankan cuisine.
Ms. Almas Riaz, Principal led the group accompanied by other faculty members from the school.
At the mission ,Students were welcomed by the Acting High Commissioner, Wajid Hassan Hashmi alongwith his other officers.
Students were briefed on the excellent brotherly relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The school Principal thanked the Pakistan High Commission for hosting the group.
