COLOMBO :Vietnam donated $20,000 worth of medicines and medical supplies to the Lady Ridgeway hospital in Colombo on Friday, March 24
The donation was made during a recent trip to Sri Lanka by a group of Buddhist monks fro,m Vietnam to receive the sacred Bodhi sapling from a temple in Anuradhapura.
The visiting delegation from Bai Dinh temple of Vietnam was led by Most Venerable Thich Minh Quang visited and gave a donation worth 20,000 USD to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children for the purchase of medicines and medical supplies.
Vietnam ambassador in Colombo, Ho Thi Thanh Truc accompanied the delegation during its meetings in Sri Lanka.
