WASHINGTON : The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Washington DC, facilitated a third in kind donation of urgent medical aid from Heart to Heart International, Kansas, USA, worth USD 7.27 million (LKR 2.7 billion), to the people of Sri Lanka. Total HHI donations to date are USD 19.9 mil. (LKR 7.4 billion).
Sri Lankan ambassador in Washington, Mahinda Samarasinghe said : “ The generosity of the American people continues to deliver real results here in Sri Lanka. Well done for coordinating this excellent effort.”
