COLOMBO : The Charge dAffaires of the Embassy of United Arab Emirates in Colombo, Humaid Altamimi,called on the Minister of Public Security, Rear Admiral (Retired) Dr. Sarath Weerasekera at the Minister’s office in ‘Suhurupaya’, Battaramulla on Thursday,September 23.
During the meeting, views were exchanged on strengthening the longstanding ties between UAE and Sri Lanka in areas of mutual interests including the extending of bilateral support in the international arena and enhancing of security cooperation.
Also joining the discussion were, Narada Samarasinghe ,Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Public Security and S.M. Ansar Moulana, Coordinating Secretary to the Minister.
