COLOMBO :After 10 years of operations in Sri Lanka, with a leg stopping over in Male, Turkish Airlines has now launched direct flights from Istanbul, Turkey to Colombo on October 30th, with 4 weekly flights.
Flights from Colombo will be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays,Saturdays at 7:40am in the morning. However, airline is planning to increase to daily flights in 2024.
Direct flights will enable Sri Lanka to connect with Europe and Americas with shorter flight times, as well as shorter connection times in monumental Istanbul Airport. Being the airline flying the most countries in the world, direct flights will also mean that Turkish Airlines will be supporting Tourism to Sri Lanka from 129 Countries of the World. And the airline will always be carrying the pride of contributing to the Tourism of this beatiful country. In addition,
