COLOMBO – The annual Inter House Sports meet of St Sebastian Sinhala Vidyalaya, Colombo 12, was held at Sugathadasa Stadium recently under the patronage of Director of Education, Colombo Zone P. R. Devabandu.
JJ Foundation Director I.Y.M.Haniff, Serandib Schools Development Foundation Chairman Rizvi Zaheed, and Human Rights Movements Director General Rizwan Cassim were present as a special guests.
The overall championship was won by the Kokila House with 251 points, Mayura House was in second place with 244 points and Hansa House with 225 points obtained third place. The Kokila House captain M. Zaheem received the champion shield from Serandib Schools Development Foundation Chairman Rizvi Zaheed.
Drill display, parent’s race, past pupils race, teacher’s race, and prefects squad, which made the colourful event.
The Principal of the School Mrs. Roshani Preena Raban and the members of the staff along with the school development committee is thankful to the past pupils association and the other sponsors who contribute to make the event success.
