COLOMBO : Sudesh Rupasinghe, Manager Sri Lanka and Maldives for Kuwait Airways, the National carrier of the state of Kuwait was yesterday elected by the highest preferential votes, as Vice Chairman of the Board of Airline Representatives, which represent all major airlines operating to Sri Lanka.
Mr. Rupasinghe replaces Chandana De Silva, an industry veteran & legend of the aviation industry in Sri Lanka, while Mr. Dimuthu Tennakoon, Head of Worldwide Sales and Distribution for Sri Lankan Airlines continues to head the BAR as Chairman.
