Sri Lankan premier visits Classic Travel pavilion after inaugurating ‘Sancharaka Udawa’ in Colombo

COLOMBO : Sri Lankan prime minister Dinesh Gunawardena inaugurated the 10th edition of Sancharaka Udawa, Sri Lanka’s largest travel and tourism fair at the BMICH on Friday, May 19.

The event brought together industry officials and professionals onto a single platform. The premier toured the exhibition and also visited the Classic Travel stall too.

The event, organised by Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO)  is taking place after a hiatus of three years.

The Sancharaka Udawa 2023 is held over two days, 19 and 20 May at the BMICH and is open from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm. The event features 250 exhibitors and facilitates the stakeholders to engage with government authorities.
