RETRO, evening which will kick start tomorrow at 7 .30 pm and will go on till midnight is held for a worthy cause.
Sri Lanka Women Conference has envisaged awarding a donation for the Upliftment & Rehabilitation of Leprosy Affected Persons (SUROL)
The Society for Upliftment & Rehabilitation of Leprosy Affected Persons (SUROL) is gravely concerned about the disabled leprosy persons and their families who are already living below the poverty line and are amongst the most affected by the loss of livelihoods, food shortages and spiraling cost of essential items. They are thus preparing a major project of food distribution to approximately 250 families in two months.
SUROL has expressed delight that social service organizations such as the Sri Lanka Women’s Conference, which stands for Equality, development, Participation and Peace, is supporting them with a contribution towards their target of reaching out to the most vulnerable in our society to help those disabled by Leprosy and their families. Every person who purchases a RETRO Evening ticket will be contributing to this worthy cause.
The ticket entails a fabulous evening of entertainment, with song and dance to enjoy with friends and family, with a sumptuous buffet dinner included. Many surprises and prizes are to be won through the ticket draw as well.
Tickets for Retro Evening will be available at the entrance.
