COLOMBO : All faculties of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka in Oluvil, apart from the Faculty of Applied Sciences will be closed until Jan.16 due to floods in the area.
Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Rameez Aboobucker told Colombo Times that the whole property is under water and timely action of the authorities a lot of things were cleared from the area safely .
Students in hostels have been requested to leave the accommodation and exams of the Faculty of Technology have also been postponed consequently .
