COLOMBO — SIP Academy International conducted its 16th National SIP Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition was held on Sunday November 19 at the St Joseph College Auditorium Colombo. More than 600 students age group of 6 to 12 years represented 23 Centers participated for the competition of mental skills showcasing their concentration, memory, and memory retention skills along with their mental arithmetic skills in attempting 125 complex calculations in 5 minutes.
Managing Director of SIP Academy Dinesh Victor, International Business Development Manager Shazad Khan, Tower Hall Foundation Member of the Board of Directors Hassim Omar, Zahira College Principal Trizviiy Marikkar, SIP Academy Country Manager Rishard Raheem and Dr. Chandima Wijegunawardene were present at this competition and distributed medals and awards to the students.
Grandpass Center was champion this year competition and Head of the Center Mrs. Shiva Shamuga Priya (Shanthi) and her teachers and students received champion shield from Hassim Omar and Trizviiy Marikkar.
