COLOMBO : The pavilion of Saudi Arabia was the center of attraction at the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar on Saturday, December 2.
The event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka diverted the proceeds of the show to the Lady Ridgeway Government Children’s Hospital in Colombo.
Saudi Ambassador Khalid bin Hamoud Alkahtani, stated that there is a great demand for the products and exhibits shown and served at the Saudi stall in the bazaar this year. He pointed out that in addition to the Saudi products, there was increased interest evinced by visitors for Saudi delicacies served at the stall.
He pointed out that the Saudi Embassy in Colombo will continue to participate in such charitable ventures in the future as well.
