COLOMBO : The World Food Programme,WFP, announced here on Tuesday June 11, a donation of 300mt of dates valued at the$500,000 from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the government of Sri Lanka through the KS Relief Fund.
The nutrient-rich dates will be handed out to children enrolled in the national school meal programme.
