Saudi Arabia signs Hajj agreement with Sri Lanka

JEDDAH: An agreement on arrangements of Hajj for the year of 1444 H (2023) between the Delegation of Hajj affairs (Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka) and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was signed on January 9 at Jeddah Superdome.

The delegation of Hajj headed by  P.M.Amza, the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom was accompanied by  Falah Alhabshi Consul General of Sri Lanka, Fazil Farook, Head of Chancery and Dr Ashraff Nuhuman, Officer in charge for Hajj Affairs

During this event, Ambassador Amza exchanged the agreement with Dr. Abdulfattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom . Follow up official meeting between the delegation and the Deputy Minister was held on January 11 at Jeddah Superdome.
