RIYADH : The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has called for a joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit to be held in the Kingdom on November 11, to discuss the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territories and the Republic of Lebanon, and the ongoing developments in the region.

in a statement, the Saudi foreign ministry said on Thursday, October 31 that the continued unjust Israeli aggression against the occupied Palestinian territories and the expansion of the aggression to include the Republic of Lebanon in an attempt to undermine its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and in light of the dangerous consequences of this aggression on the region’s security and stability, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as it follows the ongoing developments in the region, reaffirms its condemnation and denunciation of the continuing crimes and violations against the Palestinian people by the Israeli occupation authorities, as well as the Israeli attacks and violations targeting the Republic of Lebanon.
Consistent with the joint Arab-Islamic Summit held in Riyadh on November 11, 2023, and based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and building on the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister and in coordination with the leaders of the Arab and Islamic countries, the Kingdom calls for a joint Arab-Islamic follow-up summit to be held in the Kingdom on November 11, 2024, to discuss the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian territories and the Republic of Lebanon, and the ongoing developments in the region.
