COLOMBO — M.Z.M. Rushdie has been appointed Chairman of the Zahira College Hockey Committee. The Principal of Zahira College Trizviiy Marikar handed over his appointment letter at the College premises on Wednesday November 8.
Hockey was a popular sports among the Zahirians. Rushdie has represented Colombo District School’s Tournament under 19 year 2001.
Members of the Board of Governors Zahira College Moulavi M.T.A. Ariff and M.S.M. Niyas with Old Boys Association President Mohamed Shiraz were also present.
