COLOMBO – President Ranil Wickremesinghe, in his capacity as the Finance Minister, appointed Ronald Perera, PC as Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon.
This is the second time that Ronal Perera will head the state bank.
He held the position of Chairman of the Bank of Ceylon from January 2015 till November 2019.
On the 1st of August 2022, Ronald Chithranjan Perera was appointed as the Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC).
Ronald Perera was appointed as a President’s Counsel in 2012.( News First)
