COLOMBO : Riza Yusoof, veteran in the airline industry of 30 years, has joined the Traveller Global Pvt Ltd. as its Director/General Manager from Thursday, December 1st to add value to the leading travel organization.
Riza is a refined product of Trinity College, Kandy, which is one of the prestigious educational institutes in Sri Lanka. After his higher education he commenced his professional career in the Airline and Travel Industry 30 years ago. His area of interest was Sales, Marketing and Peoples Management.
He began his career with Hemas group and thereafter continued to progress in to many other areas in the Airline Industry. To name a few of his successful career include ; Malaysian Airlines, Emirates Airlines. Thereafter joined the National carrier and held the position of Sales Manager & Country Manager, and thereafter held the position of Country Manager of Oman Air in Saudi Arabia. He has also held the positions of Country Manager in Qatar, Thailand with the National carrier, among his many areas of successful career.
Riza has many achievements to his credit in his long career that has given him exposure to a wide range of organizational environments and diverse cultures. His primary competencies are independently managing, supervising and monitoring the workforce and empower the team accordingly to achieve the organizational objective and reaching the goals successfully.
