Rains disrupt play – Afghanistan lead series

KANDY: Due to heavy rains the match was called off after Afghanistan had set a target of 228 off 48.2 overs. By the third over of the Sri Lanka innings the rain disrupted play. Subsequently the match was abandoned. Kasun Rajitha bowled best for Sri Lanks for 3 wickets giving away 31 runs. Gurbaz made his second consecutive half century (68 off 73 balls). Only 2.4 overs were bowled in the Sri Lankan innings where Sri Lanka scored 10 for no wickets.
