COLOMBO: President Gotabaya Rajapaksa instructed officials to strictly monitor the self-quarantine the process now underway to contain the spread of COVID – 19 virus even after curfew is lifted.
President Rajapaksa issued these directives during the daily meeting with the members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID – 19 Prevention held at the Presidential Secretariat Thursday Nov.05 .
“Maintaining self-discipline & following health guidelines could lead us to defeat by Covid virus. We can’t let virus take over the livelihood of our people. Let us unite 4 the betterment of our country, overcomingall political ideologies and differences,” the president said.
