Posters in IIOJK, indicate people will observe a complete shutdown on Feb 9, 11

 

SRINAGAR: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, posters have appeared in different areas, saying the people of the territory will observe complete shutdown on February 9 and 11, the martyrdom anniversaries of prominent Kashmiri martyrs, Muhammad Afzal Guru and Muhammad Maqbool Butt respectively.

India had hanged Muhammad Afzal Guru in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail on February 09 in 2013 and sent prominent liberation leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt, to the gallows in the same jail on February 11, 1984. The bodies of Afzal Guru and Maqbool Butt were buried in the premises of the jail.

The posters, displayed by Wariseen-e-Shuhada-e-Jammu and Kashmir in different parts of the territory with pictures of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru in different parts of Kashmir, said struggle of Afzal Guru and Maqbool Buut against the illegal occupation over Kashmir by India will continue.

It said the people of Kashmir will foil the nefarious designs of India and Hindutva against Kashmir, urging the people of Kashmir to avoid selling their lands to non-Kashmiris because India wants to erode Muslim identity in the territory.India wants to erode Muslim identity in the territory.
