COLOMBO: The Police arrested a 49-year-old woman who was wanted for 32 pending cases.
Two complaints had been filed against the suspects, said Senior DIG Ajith Rohana on Sunday (11).
The complaints stated that Rs. 850,000/- was paid to the suspect to send the complainants to Japan for employment.However, the suspect had failed to send them Japan and thus a complaint was filed.
Investigations revealed the suspect is having 32 pending cases in courts across the country with 17 open warrants for her arrest.
