COLOMBO : Public Health Inspectors’ Union of Sri Lanka (PHIUSL) will call off its strike from 7.30 am from Wednesday July 29.
The decision was sequel to the PHIUSL meeting with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and health authorities on Tuesday to resolve the ongoing trade union action launched by the PHIs.
It has been over 10 days since the PHIUSL had commenced the union action over the alleged unfair treatment of the PHIs through the gazette issued recently on the implementation of health regulations under the quarantine laws.
