COLOMBO- The wholesale shops in the Fourth and Fifth Cross streets in Pettah, in Colombo,which were opened on the instructions of the trade ministry were disappointed on Sunday when there were no takers for their goods.
However, the wholesale dealers were able to get their goods from the suppliers in time. A few retailers were seen purchasing their stocks during the day.
