COLOMBO- Palestine ambassador Dr. Zuhair M.H.Zaid received the National Organizer of the Sri Lankan Podujana Peramua Muslim Federation National Organizer A.L.M.Uwais at his office on Friday.
Ulfath Uwais, the coordinator of the Youth wing of the Federation and former ambassador Ibrahim Sahib Ansaer were also present at the discussions.
The envoy wished all success to the new Federation with trust and hopes to contribute to building bridges of harmony and understanding among all communities towards a prosperous Sri Lanka.
“ We look forward to maintain a close cooperation with the Palestine mission and hope to serve the nation and Palestinian cause in all possible ways,” Uwais told Colombo Times.
