PUTTALAM: Maj Gen (R) Umar Farooq Burki HI (M) distributed sewing machines in Puttalam as part of out reach programme of Pakistan on Monday, Nov.21.
Pakistan’s Honorary Consul General Afzal Marikar was also present at the event held on Monday.
The ideas of the donation is to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and to help the deserving ladies in running their households with dignity, said the Kulsoom Jailani ,press secretary at the Pakistan mission in Colombo
