COLOMBO : On an invitation from Prime Minister Hon Denesh Gunawardana MP. The Paffrel team had a cordial discussion on Local Government Elections at the Parliament on Monday, December 05.
Paffrel team headed by Executive Director Mr. Rohana Hettiarachi was accompanied by other members Mrs. Christobel Savarimuttu, Dr Jehan Perera, Mrs Visaka Dharmawardane.Prof Heenkanda and K.N.Deen.
Hettiarachi said the meeting was successful and had clearly indicated, if the government fails to hold Local Government Election on time or bring any new legislation to postpone election, Paffrel will take legal action and file FR application against the Election Commission.
