COLOMBO : Raja Collure, the governor of the North Western Province, has passed away while receiving treatment for COVID-19.
He was 83 years at the time of his demise.
Last Friday (Dec. 03), it was confirmed that Collure had contracted the novel coronavirus. He had been tested positive in a PCR test.
