COLOMBO : Mark your calendars for an exciting day of football action as the Past Prefects’ Association of Zahira College, Colombo, proudly presents the Nolimit 18th Zahira Super 16 Soccer 7’s Tournament, set to take place on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, at the Race Course International Stadium.
This year marks the 18th consecutive edition of this prestigious event, which has become a vital platform for showcasing young football talent in Sri Lanka. The competition will feature sixteen of the country’s top football-playing schools, battling it out in a fast-paced 7-a-side format.
For the first time, the tournament will welcome an international participant, the Stafford Sri Lankan School from Doha, adding a global dimension to this iconic event.
This unique 7-a-side format promises quick-paced, high-energy matches designed to captivate both players and spectators. It’s not just about the competition; it’s about nurturing Sri Lanka’s future football stars and pushing the sport to new heights on the global stage.
