COLOMBO–The Government’s budget for the year 2021 will be presented in Parliament on November 17, the State Minister of Money and Capital Markets, and State Enterprise Reforms Ajith Nivard Cabraal said on Thursday
Commemorative stamp on the Nine-arch rail bridge
COLOMBO, LANKAPUVATH) –The famous Nine Arch bridge on the railway line between Badulla and Demodara will be 100 years old next year. A commemorative stamp will be issued to mark the day.
Culture State Minister Vidura Wickramanayake said it was gazett to designate the Nine Arch bridge as a significant national heritage site and a commemorative stamp will be issued in this regard.

“As much as we give importance to nurture children’s physical and mental health, we must also ensure they are brought up to be virtuous adults”, President Rajapaksa said.
