COLOMBO : I take this opportunity of extending my heartiest felicitations and good wishes on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman and the people of the sultanate of Oman to His Excellency the President Ranil Wickremesinghe and the lovely people of Sri Lanka at the dawn of the New Year 2023.
Oman and Sri Lanka have maintained strong and friendly bilateral relations with mutual understanding from early times. On the 17th of February 2021, the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Oman and Sri Lanka was celebrated, and a memorial logo was jointly issued by two countries.
We sincerely hope and trust that these vibrant relationships will grow from strength to greater strength during the year 2023. Let’s reach new heights in our relations with Sri Lanka for the betterment of the two nations.
