COLOMBO: New Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Khalid Hamoud Nasser Aldasam Alkahtani made a courtesy call on the Minister of Environment Hon Naseer Ahamed at the Ministry of Environment Thursday, Oct.28
Both had a cordial and positive discussion focused on the potential for mutual cooperation and growth and the way forward, particularly in the backdrop of Minister Ahameds recent visit to The Kingdom as the special envoy of Sti Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe .
Minister pointed out the long term close relationship between the Kingdom and
Sri Lanka.
Minister Ahamed said Sri Lanka will fully support Saudi Vision 2030 project.and offered the island’s cooperation for the success of the project.
The minister also expressed his views on how best Lankan- Saudi relations could be further developed
