NEGOMBO : A group of citizens in the coastal city of Negombo took to the streets on Saturday, Jan 21, to mark the completion of 45 months from Easter Sunday attacks on April.21,2019 to show their protests urging the government to arrest all those who were responsible for the disaster.
The peaceful demonstration was carried out by the Negombo Citizens’ Federation at the Katuwapitiya junction in the town.
The slogans that were higlighted were: “ Let us not hide the real culprits of the disaster.” “ Maithirpala Sirisena and Deshabandu Tennakoon former DIG, were found guilty.”
