National Muslim Assembly opens smart classrooms in Oddamavadi

VALACHENAI : The National Muslim Assembly (NMA) opened five Smart Classrooms in Oddamavadi, Batticaloa earlier on Monday, Dec.5.

The beneficiaries were schools in Kokulam Vidyalaya Vahaneri, Ayesha Balika Maha Vidyalaya Valachenai, Kawattamunai Al-Ameen Vidyalaya, Al-Hidaya Maha Vidyalaya and Azhar Maha Vidyalaya respectively.

The renovated smart classrooms equipped with smart boards and printers were donated as a gesture of appreciation towards the people of Oddamavadi, for their compassion and generosity towards the people of Sri Lanka at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ceremonial proceedings took place under the patronage of Prof. Kemal I Deen, Chairman of the NMA and the Chairman of the Koralaipattru Pradeshiya Sabha, A.M. Noufer. Also in attendance representing the NMA were Afzal Marikar, Aman Ashraff and Suhail Jamaldeen.
