COLOMBO : “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates the passing of ninety-one years of glory, honor and security since its founding by King Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman – May Allah have mercy on him – who, with the blessings of the Almighty Allah, integrated the divided parts of the Kingdom under the banner of unity, and his sons followed in his footsteps after him, until the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – May Almighty Allah protect him – and on this honorable occasion, I am pleased to extend my congratulations to the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Crown Prince and People of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a whole while praying the Almighty to continue to shower his blessings of security and safety on all of us. The wise leadership of the Kingdom is keen on building cordial relationships with all countries in the world, including the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, whereas the relationships are based on the principle of mutual respect and cooperation in various fields. The Kingdom always seeks to establish peace among the nations of the world, and the Kingdom is one of the leading countries in humanitarian, relief and development works in various countries of the world, where it has been extending a helping hand and humanitarian assistance to Arab, Islamic and friendly countries, to contribute to alleviating their suffering, especially with natural disasters or wars, prioritizing their initiatives, as the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has designated its relief and humanitarian works as a leading international center for relief of disaster-stricken communities with the aim of helping them and alleviating their suffering in order to live a decent life. In conclusion, I hope that well-being, peace and security will prevail over our dear country in particular and all countries of the world in general.
