COLOMBO – Al Masjidun Najimi Jumma Mosque, Colombo 12 had organized “ Najimi Achiever’s Award Ceremony 2023“ at the Tower Hall, Maradana, Colombo on Sunday January 21. It was held under the patronage of Chief Trustee of the Mosque M.A.M. Rizwan.
Abdullah Shoe Industries Chairman C.M. Noor and DF Holdings Director A. M. Fazooldeen were present as guests of honour and presented awards to the students. Colombo Central Jamiyyathul Ulama Vice President Moulavi Al Hafil Irshad Uwais was present as the guest speaker.
Awards were distributed to students who completed English, IT, Computer Course including GCE Ordinary Level and Grade 5 scholarship achievers.
Also felicitated students from Jaffna University faculty of law M.M.F. Sajidah, Kelaniya University faculty of management Hasna Rifka, Kelaniya University faculty of management Nisma Yoosuf,
Kelaniya University faculty of management Abdul Rasheed and Ruhunu University faculty of Science Fathima Shamila. They received a cash prize, certificates and awards at this ceremony.
The organizers also felicitated trustees of the Mosque for their contribution to uplift the mosque.
Trustee of the mosque U.L.M. Aslam, Joint Secretaries Irshad Hussain, A.H.M.Careem, Al Hikma College Past Pupils Association General Secretary Sadik Shihan, members of the mosque, parents, students and well wishers were present.
