KARNATAKA; The victims were found dead in their home in Udupi district earlier in the day.
Police said, the assailants killed the woman and her two older sons first, and when the youngest son, 12, walked in, he, too, was also killed.
A neighbour who heard the commotion and came out to investigate was threatened by the assailants.
The woman’s mother-in-law also suffered stab wounds during the attack and was admitted to a hospital for treatment.
The Superintendent of Police in Udupi confirmed the incident. “Today, four people have been murdered near Nejar Village. Haseena and her three children were stabbed to death,” he said.
