Multi-religious programme on  “Religious Harmony for National Economic Development”

COLOMBO: A special programme titled “Religious Harmony for National Economic Development” – reflections from the life of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was held at the BMICH in Colombo on Saturday, October 8 with the participation of multi-religious leaders and invitees.

Keynote address was delivered by Dr. Ven. Galkande Dhammananda thero, of Kelaniya University’s Faculty of History and head of Walpola Rahula Institute in Sri Lanka; Special Remarks were delivered by Shk. Amhar Hakamdeen, Social Harmony Programmes Director of Zam Zam Foundation.

The event organized by Dharmashakthi Organization and Grandpass Coexistence Committee together with co-partners including Zam Zam Foundation, Colombo District Mosques Federation, Nida Foundation, among others; was attended by an audience of Religious Leaders from all faiths, Diplomats, officials, students, social activists and media.
