Muharram is the 1st month of the Islamic calendar and one of the four sanctified month of the year. The Islamic calendar begins with the year in which Prophet Mohammed ( S.A. W) migrated from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD.
This year we welcome the Islamic new year with renewed hope to recover from the economic crisis.
