COLOMBO — In supporting the Government policy framework of promoting entrepreneurship among students at higher education and vocational training institutions, “ Vocational Training Authority ” and “ WSK Business Services (Pvt) Ltd ”, a MOU was signed to conduct start-up incubator programs for new entrepreneurs having vocational qualifications obtained from VTA at Vocational Training Authority, Narahenpita, Colombo on Tuesday January 9.
This program targets to provide start-ups incubation services to entrepreneurs having with technical skills obtained from VTA centers with NVQ 3, 4 and 5 levels.
Startups will be facilitated in order to meet the legal and legislative requirements in their particular business sectors.
Startups will be facilitated to meet the requirements in accessing local and international markets pertaining to their products and services.
This MOU was signed by Air Vice Marshal (Retired) Prasanna Ranasinghe, Chairman, Vocational Training Authority and Ramzeen Ismail, Chief Executive Officer, WSK Business Services.
Dilanjalee Siriwardena Deputy CEO of WSK Business Services, Chathura De Silva, Vice Chairman of VTA participated to the event.
