COLOMBO: The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association announced here on Sunday that a larger number of buses will be added to its operations from Monday August 8.
The Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association Gemunu Wijeratne said that steps will be taken to operate between 6,000 – 7,000 buses.
The Director General of the National Transport Commission (NTC) Dr. Nilan Miranda said that mobile inspectors have been deployed to check whether the buses are charging from passengers more than the revised price.
