COLOMBO — The Hameed Al Husseinie College, Colombo Group of 80 had organized 14th Inter Schools Invitation Football Tournament for Oxford President’s Cup Challenge Trophy 2024.
The opening ceremony was held at the Sugathadasa Stadium on Saturday February 3.
The chief guest of the event Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha who launched the trophy and guest of honour was former Member of Parliament Mujibur Rahman.
The Main Sponsor of the tournament Oxford Group Directors Imtiyaz Farook and Hifaz Farook along with Principal of the Hameed Al Husseinie College M.R.M. Risky, Group of 80 President Faizal Buhary, Secretary Fazmin Faiz and Tournament Committee Chairman Mujeebdeen Rahman were also present.
Hameed Al Hussainie College Colombo and Baduriya Central College Mawanella played the first match and Hameed Al Hussainie College beat Baduriya Central College by 6 – 0 goal.
