On the occasion of the 761h. Independence Day of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, on behalf of the State and the people of Viet Nam and in my own name. I highly appreciate the efforts made by the State and the people of Sri Lanka in the recent economic recovery. I am confident that with your talented leadership, Your Excellency will lead the country and people of Sri Lanka to overcome difficulties and challenges and record more achievements in the cause of national construction and development. I am very pleased with the fruitful outcomes of our discussion on the occasion of attending the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing last October. I am confident that with your sentiment and interests toward Viet Nam, our relations will be unceasingly enhanced, in the interests of our two peoples and for peace, stability and cooperation in Asia-Pacific and the world over.
