COLOMBO: Our greetings and good wishes on the 92nd National Day of the Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz AL Saud,His Royal Highness Crown Prince Deputy Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz and people of Saudi Arabia.
We are proud and happy on this occasion since the Kingdom is home to some 180,000 Lankan expatriates and more than 25,000 Muslims visit the Two Holy Cities of Makkah and Madinah throughout the year for Umrah and also for annual Hajj. Following the pandemic, a good number of Saudi citizens have started visiting the island-nation for tourism and trade purposes.
Our sincere wish is that Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia’s bilateral relations should go from strength to greater strength for the betterment of the two nations.
